Perhaps you need an historic figure for your event or presentation. But whom? Dolley Madison, to bring a touch of 1814 to your War of 1812 program? Or maybe you need a literary figure such as Jane Austin or Louisa May Alcott? We may have just what you require. Since 1999 I’ve been “collecting” actors who can recreate a historic personage. You might need someone as a greeter or as a floater, mingling with guests at an event but not performing a monologue. Or you may require a presentation. I’ve created original programs where the actors interact with the audience while dispensing tidbits about the era they represent in an informal manner.
